Baby girl is still sick :( another day home this time mommy needs to go to work so she's having a grandpa day. Hoping to get a dr appt later
Croup and thrush. Lovely. Baby girl feel better soon I'm exhausted
I'm exhausted. Like too exhausted to even try to stay up later. Hopefully we all feel better tomorrow.

Dahlia has a bun in today so she can't yank it out and get boogers in her hair. She seems a bit better though

So grateful to make up the hours I've missed this week but still not happy about waking up just a half hour early. Really messes with me lol

Drinking three cups of coffee in an hour this afternoon to wake myself up was a fail until I decided to take a nap... One hour later... Fml
and last but not least tonight dahlia actually called the cat kitty and not tucker. My little Boo finally says kitty!

I have the best second job. Having fun outside playing with tucker and my student who likes to be referred to as AC Slater lol
6 miles was the best I've done so far. But I think tomorrow ill only do 3 and then do yoga after gotta stretch those sore muscles

FO Friday

Dahlia was sick with Croup and Thrush this week so I didn't have much time to knit or really do anything.  My poor girl was in need of her mommy and a lot of cuddles. I did however make this mini monster while she was napping a lot. It took way longer than usual I don't know why but oh well. She's feeling much better now though.

And I also did finish my socks! FINALLY! I love how they came out they fit great for the most part but next time I'm using Susan B. Anderson's sock directions since I referenced them a lot and I found them much easier to follow.

Dahlia just took my iced coffee. Tried to take a sip nothing came up so she tried to throw it at me.

So this sock is going pretty well considering its my first one. Got about 1 1/2 inches of the foot done. Finish that part up tomorrow

Just survived my first throw up all over me from dahlia. She's lucky I love her. Not eating tuna for a good week now.

Sick baby :( she has a bad cold and a fever and she's getting a tooth. Taking her for an Italian ice to soothe her teeth

WIP Wednesday & FO Friday

I suck at posting on my scheduled days. Seriously. 

Well my WIP is my sock, I also started the Hurly Burly from the super scary mochimochi book as well as Kat the Kitchen Monster from the big book of monsters. But I don't have pics of those. I've been intensely working on my first sock. It's finally done. I'm pretty sure I did the Kitchener right. I started the second one and I'm halfway through the cuff. I used the Very Vanilla Socks pattern but its a bit tight around the cuff so next pair I'm using Susan B. Anderson's pattern because I've been referencing it throughout for better wording. It's basically the same but its 4 stitches bigger and I think that'll be just enough.

Yesterday was such a hot day so me and Dahlia went to my friend's house for the first swim of the summer. She loved it so much!

Dahlia looks like a real toddler today. Her pony tails are so long these days and she's getting so tall. Can't handle it. She's growing fast

I'm dying a slow death from exhaustion. Dahlia woke up way too early. Was so cranky during the parade and I'm just now having coffee.

Me and dahlia did a 4 mile ride down at the trail. Feel good. I think next time ill start at a further spot and do 6 miles
